Interesting! I know "nihil" and "sine" and would have guessed "operatur" as to do with "operating/doing/working". I also agree with the first comment that anything in Latin sounds profound; a lot of cultural baggage around the Church and the intersection with those who were educated is partly to blame, I think. Then again, anything in a language you don't understand can sound "odd". Something mundane might sound more romantic in Spanish, for example :) (smile)

More musical in Spanish. I don't necessarily buy language stereotypes, although German and Russian do sound a little aggressive compared to many other languages.
